Assignment & Scheduling Protocol

Our assignments are managed through ArbiterSports, a centralized online platform engineered for efficient and accurate scheduling of sports officials. This system is the standard for numerous governing bodies, including the Minnesota State High School League and Minnesota Youth Athletic Services, both of which are current clients.

Our extensive network includes hundreds of certified officials across a diverse range of sports, including but not limited to volleyball, basketball, football, baseball, softball, soccer, and kickball.

As a client, you will be granted access to your organization’s complete game schedule within the ArbiterSports portal. This provides full transparency, allowing you to view game assignments and access contact information for designated officials.

Should a change or cancellation to your schedule be required, simply notify our office, and we will manage all subsequent logistical adjustments.

Payment & Administrative Process

Hammer Sports streamlines the entire payment process for you.

  • Invoicing: A consolidated invoice for the preceding work week will be issued by email each Sunday evening.
  • Payment: Your organization will remit one single payment to Hammer Sports within 30 days of the invoice date.
  • Administration: We assume full responsibility for distributing payments to the individual officials assigned to your contests.
  • Accounting: Your organization is not responsible for managing individual payment vouchers, contracts, or the issuance of IRS Form 1099s to officials. For your accounting records, Hammer Sports will provide a current Form W-9.

Rates & Commitment to Quality

Service fees are determined by several factors, including the sport, level of competition, event location, and volume of contests. Our rate structure is designed to be competitive within the region, ensuring we can attract and retain high-caliber officials for your events.

Sports officials operate as independent contractors with numerous assignment options. By providing fair and timely compensation, Hammer Sports maintains a dedicated and professional pool of officials, which translates to superior reliability and quality for our clients.
